Why the name? According to the FAQ on their Web site (Adobe Acrobat required), "Definition of the word Zoso (pronounced ZO-so) is left to your imagination".

Just the Facts:

  • The goal of Zoso Condominiums is to fuse the tranquility of nature with the vibrancy of the city. In addition to balconies and allowing pets, the project features a lush rooftop Zen garden and a fully landscaped first-floor rear courtyard.
  • The 5-story project includes 114 condominiumiums ranging in size from 540 to 1,500 square feet (average size is 930 square feet. Prices begin in $300,000s, with the majority ranging from $400,000 to $500,000.
  • The project meets at least 21 LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credit points.
  • There will also be 23,419 square feet of retail-office space at street level. Two levels of underground parking will be available for residents and the public.
  • Project developer, The Ed Peete Company, has several other Arlington condominium projects including Bromptons At Courthouse, Bromptons At Ballston, the Joule, and Io Piazza in Shirlington.
