The BizLaunch Bootcamp brings together experts from the business community and Northern Virginia Community Colleges Arlington Center faculty to
provide intense smart business tools. Entrepeneurs and small business owners participate in courses and personalized training on topics ranging from
designing a mission statement, to developing a business and marketing strategy, to financial aspects of running a business. Upon completing the BizLaunch Bootcamp,
entrepreneurs are better positioned to run successful businesses.

BizLaunch Bootcamp is ideal for entrepreneurs with limited time, offering the core courses in an intense day and a half session. Appealing to Arlington’s varied
demographic backgrounds, Bootcamps are available in both Spanish and English. BizLaunch Bootcamp participants have included African-Americans, Africans, Hispanics, Koreans,
Indians and Middle Easterners.

The BizLaunch Bootcamp is a suggested prerequisite for Northern Virginia Community College’s BUS-116 course on entrepreneurship.
The BizLaunch Bootcamp 2006 was a resounding success, with over 50 participants attending the English and Spanish workshops. Graduates of Bootcamp found themselves
prepared to start a successful business, armed with key skills in writing business plans, business development, marketing and finance. Featured instructors included Drew
Tulchin from the Enterprise Development Group, Jaime Rullan from NOVA and Bruce Rink from Chevy Chase Bank.
